StockWise Terms of Use

Education, not financial adviceStockWise exists to teach how markets work. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The app never recommends buying, selling, or holding any security, and nothing it displays, explanations, lessons, quizzes, charts, or any other content, should be treated as a recommendation, endorsement, or prediction. No advisor–client or fiduciary relationship is created by using the app. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. For decisions about your money, consult a qualified professional.2. Accuracy and market dataThe app displays market prices, statistics, and calendars obtained from third-party sources. This data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and is provided for educational context only — it is not suitable as the basis for trading decisions. Some explanations are generated by artificial-intelligence systems from real data; despite our safeguards, AI-generated content can contain errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content in the app.3. Acceptable useYou agree to use the app only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, access it through automated means at abnormal volume, reverse-engineer the app except where the law permits, or misrepresent the app's content as professional advice to others.4. Intellectual propertyThe app, including its design, text, lessons, and games, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Ticker symbols, index names, and company names referenced in market data belong to their respective owners; their appearance in the app is informational and implies no affiliation or endorsement.5. StockWise Pro SubscriptionStockWise offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, StockWise Pro, that removes the free tier's daily limits on explanations and follow-up questions and unlocks all content levels. The core of the app, market pulse, every definition, the guides, and the games at the free levels, remains free.
- Price and term: shown in the app before purchase, currently $6.99 per month or $39.99 per year (local pricing may vary). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Automatic renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancelling: you can cancel at any time in your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; there are no partial refunds for the remainder of a period, subject to Apple's refund policies and applicable law.
- Restoring: if you reinstall or change devices, use "Restore purchases" in the app to reactivate an existing subscription.
- Changes: we may change Pro's price or included features; changes to price apply only from your next renewal, and Apple will notify you before any price increase takes effect.
Purchases are processed by Apple, and Apple's Media Services Terms govern billing, renewal, and refunds. Nothing in a paid tier changes Section 1: paid features are education, not advice.6. Disclaimer of warrantiesThe app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Your use of the app is at your own risk.7. Limitation of liabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including any financial losses or trading decisions, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or its content. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim (or $10 if you paid nothing).8. Changes and terminationWe may update the app, these terms, or discontinue the service at any time. Material changes to these terms take effect when posted with a new effective date; continued use constitutes acceptance. We may suspend access for violations of these terms.9.
